Jikishoan is a thriving community of people studying and practising Soto Zen Buddhism under the guidance of Zen Master Ekai Korematsu Osho. Newcomers with an interest in Zen meditation and practice in daily life are always welcome.

Zen Master Ekai Korematsu Osho is the Abbot of Jikishoan Zen Buddhist Community and the Director and main teacher of Jikishoan’s Zen and Integrated Buddhist Studies program.  

Ekai Korematsu Osho has taught Soto Zen Buddhism in Japan, USA, India, Australia and New Zealand over the last 40 years.  He established Jikishoan in Melbourne in 1999.  Since then, Jikishoan has offered a range of Zen practice activities based on Bendoho – the original way of practice as prescribed by the 13th century Japanese Zen Master, Eihei Dogen Zenji.

Jikishoan is based in Melbourne Australia.
